Hot tea, scarves, and windy nights? For the asks?
Asked by Anonymous

hot tea: when was the last time you kissed someone (if you haven’t had your first kiss, who would you like that first someone to be?)

My partner this morning (over our morning tea, as a matter of fact)

scarves: if you could only wear one outfit for the rest of your life what would it be?

I was going to answer something practical but nope, it’s this one:

windy nights:if you could go to any concert whose would it be?

Bruce Springsteen, GA

inktober from patreon.

i have a bunch of mini story/comic ideas from when my mom and I drove to Georgia earlier this year, all from the perspective of animals scavenging or traveling down an area they call the haunted road side diner. this particular comic was inspired by how weird it is to see garbage bags left by prisoner clean up crews left in a neat line down the median with no one in sight, and suspicious bags left by even more suspicious trucks on the side of the road.

Cozy blankets, flannel, fuzzy boots, apple picking, and holding hands?
Asked by salazarastark

cozy blankets: where do you feel the most safe and at home?

there are two answers here! In terms of physical place, I feel the most at home in Chicago. In terms of a more figurative definition, I feel the most at home wherever I’m with my partner, even when it’s somewhere completely unfamiliar and/or intimidating

holding hands: do you believe in soulmates?

I don’t believe in predestined soulmates, but I definitely believe two (or more!) people can fit together in a way that makes them greater than the sum of their parts, and that’s what I think of as soulmates

(the other two I answered before I got to your ask!)

Chilly aIr, apple cider, and apple picking for the asks

chilly air: what’s your least favorite and favorite type of weather?

My least favorite is dull rain that lasts for days and never crescendos into a thunderstorm. My favorite is either brief dramatic thunderstorms in August or cloudless, windy days in October

apple cider: if you could throw a party, and invite absolutely anyone, who would they be?

So many people! To limit it, let’s say Neil Gaiman, Mary Shelley, Martin McDonagh and Annie Baker

apple picking: if you could go anywhere, where would it be and why?

I’d love to visit the Swiss Alps someday

Wool socks, fuzzy boots, flannel?
Asked by Anonymous

wool socks: what’s something you look forward to in fall?

1) football season; 2) the first perfectly crisp fall day; 3) every photograph looks better with orange leaves in the background

flannel: what’s your favorite day of the year? is there a reason it’s your favorite?

Probably the winter solstice, because there’s so much hope associated with it. The darkest day of the year is passing and everything only gets brighter from there

fuzzy boots: if you could live in any year/era, which would it be and why?

All eras have their positives and negatives obviously, but I’d love to have been alive during the early 19th century to meet the romantics (Blake especially!)
