10 steps to a polished instagram profile

In this day and age, personal branding for your career matters. Your presence and effectiveness on these platforms could be the difference between getting a job or not. If your Instagram is currently full of selfies and nondescript pictures of your friends, then you should definitely consider making your account private (a rarely used Instagram account, is best kept private) or creating a new account for a fresh start. 

 It's important to be professional across all of your social media platforms. Ideally you should already have a LinkedIn profile, but if you plan to be in an artistic or creative field, having a polished Instagram can be an important platform for showcasing your work.
